Welcome! My name is Jennifer Scott, but I go by Ms. Scott. I am a mother of two boys, a tutor, and I teach many of our math and science classes. I have been teaching for 10 years and was an insurance agent for 15 years before that.  

PROFESSIONAL

I received a bachelor’s degree in business with a minor in business administration from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2014.  After teaching at a Classical Conversations Co-op for several years I began to work for Melissa Wade, who founded Math Academy and Ascend Homeschool Academy.  Just this past year in 2025 I have taken over as Director of Ascend Homeschool Academy and am transitioning our school into Ascend Academy Inc. which will be a nonprofit organization as of January 1, 2026.  We are very excited about these advancements and the great things to come.  

As an organization, we have a passion for teaching and helping students succeed.  Our teachers, and I, pride ourselves on having amazing teaching techniques that are specialized in our respective areas of education and give customized attention to each student.
